Krita hf.

Krita is an Icelandic factoring provider for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and part of the Orka Ventures group. It enables businesses to convert issued invoices into immediate liquidity instead of waiting for payment on the due date. The company currently offers financing of up to ISK 100 million and typically advances no more than 88% of the invoice’s nominal value. Credit decisions are usually available within 24 hours.
Its proprietary technology platform automates the application process, invoice verification, debtor assessment, pricing, and fund disbursement. Risk is evaluated not only on the basis of the client’s financial situation but also on the quality of the specific receivable, the debtor’s payment history, and concentration exposure to individual counterparties. The remaining portion of the invoice value serves as a buffer for fees and potential collection shortfalls.
Each investment is backed by a real trade receivable; however, its value may be affected by disputes over delivered goods or services, credit notes, or the debtor’s insolvency. Krita retains a 5% stake in the financed receivables and provides a buyback guarantee for investments offered on Bondster.
The current return offered to investors on Bondster is 10.5% p.a.
