Built-In Risk Mitigation:

Every claim goes through a strict selection process, focusing only on high-probability, high-merit cases and mirroring traits of claims that already have a proven track-record of winning. If a claim fails, an insurance policy covers the principal—meaning the investor does not bear the litigation risk. This risk is borne by the insurance company and the law firm. 

Legal and economic evaluations, budget monitoring, claim progression monitoring and possible compensation evaluations are carried out continuously through Nera’s proprietary claims management system which integrates directly with the system of the law firms and the claims undergo continuous and rigorous auditing by Nera’s experienced in-house audit team. 

How the Investment Structure Works?

Investors participate via Nera Capital Funding 4 DAC, a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created solely for Bondster investors. This structure ensures greater portfolio transparency and investor protection. 

The process operates as follows: 

1. Claim Finance & Administration Co. Ltd (CFAL), a sister company of the SPV, issues loans to law firms to fund litigation secured by the underlying individual claims. 

2. CFAL sells the claims to Nera Capital Funding 4 DAC to raise investor capital. 

3. CFAL acts as trustee, managing the repayment flow from law firms back into the SPV. 

4. Investor returns are distributed from the SPV, while CFAL receives a predetermined management fee. 

This setup guarantees full transparency and professional oversight across every stage—from capital deployment to repayment.
