MFO Smart Finance LLP with the Money Express brand name is a relatively young, but successfully developing Fintech company in the field of online microlending in Kazakhstan.
MFO Smart Finance LLP was founded in May 2019 by two young entrepreneurs who challenged themselves to an entirely new industry. For more than 3 years, the company has experienced many challenges, including serious funding problems (continuous lack of liquidity), the COVID-19 pandemic, regulatory restrictions forced by the government, and increased competition for reliable customers.
However, Smart Finance was able to successfully survive all this and from a startup with limited liquidity had become a strong mid-ranger with a stable net profit, big ambitions, an advanced IT infrastructure, and most importantly with a strong team, which is our main asset.
By the end of December 2022, we had disbursed over 49,000 loans worth $5 million, while over $6.2 million was repaid. At the same time, the loan portfolio is about $800 thousand.
For all these years, our team members have learned how to squeeze water from a rock and now we are 100% ready for new horizons and big challenges.
